A Conference of Research and Design Works of Younger Pupils named after S.F. Morozov took place in Bugulma
The XII Republican Conference of Research and Design Work of Younger Pupils named after S.F. Morozov took place in Bugulma town in the premises of the Tatar Gymnasium No. 14 named after Khadi Atlasi. The expert jury consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Children's Ecological and Biological Center” of the Bugulminskiy district, “The Palace of Schoolchildren”, and also an Reforestation Engineer of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminskiy Forest District” Guzeliya Latifullina.
The purpose of this conference was to draw the attention of children to the natural, historical and national heritage of their area, to cultivate a caring attitude to nature and to unite the efforts of pupils and teachers to study the regional characteristics of their native land.
The conference was held among pupils of 1-5th grades of educational institutions in 2 stages. For the correspondence stage, 176 applications were submitted from participants from Bugulma, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Leninogorsk and other cities and towns of the republic. 85 winners were invited to intramural stage of the conference. They presented their research works on topics “Plastic bag - benefit or harm?”, “Music in nature”, “Study of rare species of animals and plants on the territory of the Stepnoi State Nature Reserve”, “Lichens - indicators of air purity” and others.
According to the results of the intramural stage, winners, prize-winners and laureates in 11 sections were determined, who were awarded with diplomas of the Republican Academic Olympics Center.
