12 facts of illegal cutting of forest stands were revealed in Tatarstan as part of “Yel” Operation
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the interagency operational and preventive event “Yel”. Let us recall that it took place from December 20 to December 31, 2019.
As part of “Yel” Operation, 50 stationary posts and 144 mobile patrol groups were created, 774 people were involved - 409 state forest inspectors and 365 employees of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the patrol, 12 facts of illegal logging in the forest fund of the Bolgarskiy, Buinskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Kaleikinskiy, Menzelinskiy, Sabinskiy and Tetyushskiy forest districts were revealed. In all cases of violations of forest legislation, administrative offenses have been brought against the perpetrators. The total damage caused to the forest fund amounted to 39.4 thousand rubles.
