Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov held a ministerial meeting
Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry, where the results of work were summed up and tasks for the coming period were set. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, administrative officer, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, the results of work on forests conservation, protection and reproduction in 2019, as well as the results of interdepartmental operational and preventive event “Yel” held from December 20 to December 31 last year were discussed. Let us recall that during the patrol 12 facts of illegal cutting of forest stands were revealed.
After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov urged the Ministry staff to continue systematic work to prevent and detect violations of forest legislation. “This year it is necessary to pay special attention to prevention of forest violations, as well as to improve the quality of the ongoing control and supervision measures, including inspections of tenants”, he said.
Along with this, the Minister gave a number of instructions concerning the development of the school forestry movement, accounting of protective forest plantations in the republic, development and implementation of the Geographic Information System of the RT forest fund.
