Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov paid a working visit to Vysokogorskiy and Verkhneuslonskiy municipal districts
Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov paid a working visit to Vysokogorskiy and Verkhneuslonskiy municipal districts. There he met with the heads of municipalities, Rustam Kalimullin and Marat Ziatdinov. During the meetings, issues of forestry development, reforestation and afforestation, and others were discussed.
Along with this, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov attended the meetings of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodnyi Forest District” and the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhskiy Forest District” on topic “On results of work in 2019 and tasks for 2020. Review of implementation of collective agreements for 2019 and conclusion or prolongation of them for 2020”.
Head-Forester Ilnur Kashafeyev made the main report at the meeting on results of the activities of the Prigorodnyi forest district and the Training Experimental Prigorodnyi forestry enterprise. He said that in 2019, reforestation and afforestation on the area of 47 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops - on 520 hectares, and their supplement - on 64 hectares were carried out on the territory of the forest district. 110 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested and 1,382 thousand pieces of standard planting material were grown.
Sanitary and health measures were carried out on the area of 1.6 thousand ha, including selective sanitary felling - on 264 ha, harvesting of illiquid wood - on 1.3 thousand ha.
Ravil Kuzyurov praised the last year work of subordinate institutions. He informed the staff about the tasks for 2020 and urged them to pay special attention to preparing for the fire hazard season in the forests.
At a meeting with participation of the teams of the Privolzhskiy forest district and the Privolzhskiy forestry enterprise, the results of work in 2019 were reported by the Head-Forester Rustem Ismagilov. In particular, he said that as part of the federal state forest supervision (forest protection), 1.2 thousand patrols in the forests were conducted, 44 warnings on inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of forest legislation were issued, etc. In order to ensure fire safety in the forests, 35 km of new mineralized strips were laid and maintenance of existing barriers with a total length of 89 km were carried out.
Improvement cutting and sanitary logging were carried out on the area of 103 hectares, including in young stands - on 47 ha.
Summing up the meeting, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov instructed the specialists to increase the level of development of estimated cutting area and to strengthen work on prevention, detection and suppression of violations of forest legislation.
