Forestry representatives inform about fire safety rules in forests at gatherings of citizens in rural settlements
Gatherings of citizens of rural settlements began in the municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan from mid-January of this year. According to the Ministry’s work plan on fire prevention in forests for 2020, head-foresters, local foresters, and forest conservation and protection engineers from the republic make speeches at such meetings.
So, the District Forester of Svetlogorskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Cheremshanskiy Forest District” Vladimir Kudryashov informed the citizens of the Starokadeyevsky rural settlement of Cheremshanskiy municipal district about fire safety rules in the forests. In his speech, he dwelled on results of the fire hazard season of 2019, planned events for this year, and also recalled responsibility for violating fire safety rules in the forests and the effect of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 18, 2016 No. 807 “On Amending Certain Acts of the Russian Federation Government on issue of ensuring fire safety of territories”. In accordance with it, from the day of the snow cover melting until the establishment of stable rainy autumn weather or snow formation, state authorities and local self-government bodies, institutions, organizations, other legal entities, peasant farms, public associations, individual entrepreneurs, officials, citizens of the Russian Federation , foreign citizens, stateless persons who own, use and (or) dispose of the territory adjacent to the forest must ensure its cleaning from dry grassy vegetation, overt residues, fallen trees, forest residues, waste and other combustible materials in the band width of at least 10 meters from wood or separate the forest with mineralized band width of at least 0.5 meters, or create other fire barrier.
The Local Forester of the Ashitskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Isleitarskiy Forest District” made a report on fire prevention in forests at the gathering of citizens of the Alan-Bekserskiy rural settlement of Vysokogorskiy municipal district.
