Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov paid a working visit to Zelenodolskiy and Kaibitskiy municipal districts
Today in the morning, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov paid a working visit to Zelenodolskiy and Kaibitskiy municipal districts. The main goal is to participate in meetings of subordinate institutions of the Ministry on topic “On results of work in 2019 and tasks for 2020. Review of implementation of collective agreements for 2019 and conclusion or prolongation of them for 2020”.
Prior to the meeting in Zelenodolskiy district, the Minister met with the Head of the Executive Committee of the district, Mikhail Afanasyev. During the meeting, issues of forestry development, reforestation and afforestation, and others were discussed.
The meeting was held in the premises of the Rodina recreation center in Zelenodolsk. The keynote speaker was Idris Khamitov, Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolskiy Forest District”. He said that in 2019, reforestation and afforestation took place on the area of 27 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops - on 163 hectares, and their supplement - on 40 hectares. 150 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested and 205 thousand pieces of standard planting material were grown.
Sanitary and health measures were carried out on the area of 258 ha, including selective sanitary felling - on 213 ha, harvesting of illiquid wood - on 45 ha.
After listening to the report, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov gave a positive assessment to the work of subordinate institutions in the past year. He called on forestry staff to strengthen monitoring of prevention and detection of violations of forest legislation. “You must know each land user and strictly punish violators, the Minister emphasized. - Before the start of the fire hazard season, it is necessary to give warnings about the inadmissibility of violation of fire safety requirements to owners and users of land adjacent to the forest fund. Damage to the forest fund should be allowed in no case”.
In the Kaibitskiy district, Ravil Kuzyurov also met with the Head of the municipal district, Albert Rakhmatullin, and took part in the meeting of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaibitskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaibitskiy Specialized Seed Forestry Enterprise”, which took place in the administrative building of the forestry. The results of work were reported by the Head-Forester Ilgiz Khaffazov. In particular, he said that in 2019, planting of forest crops was carried out on the area of 100 hectares, planting of protective forest stands – on 48 hectares, sowing seeds in the nursery – on 3.8 hectares.
As part of the federal state forest supervision (forest protection), 750 patrols of the lands of the forest fund were carried out. Improvement cutting and sanitary logging were carried out on the area of 441 hectares, including improvement cutting of young stands - on 135 ha.
The Minister thanked the employees of the forest district and forestry enterprise for their hard work last year. “I ask you to pay particular attention to the issues of preparing for the fire hazard season in forests and monitoring compliance with fire safety requirements by citizens, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities”, he said.
