A meeting of the headquarters for coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires was held in the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District
Today, a videoconference meeting of the headquarters for coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District was held in the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of Department Sergei Kovalev.
The event was attended by representatives of forestry authorities of the Volga Federal District, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Head of the State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry Airat Akhmerov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Aidar Gaifullin and others.
During the meeting, issues related to preparation for the fire hazard season in forests in the subjects of the Volga Federal District, development and approval of consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires, implementation of the federal project “Forests Conservation” as part of the national project “Ecology”, and others were discussed.
In conclusion, Sergei Kovalev informed the participants about holding of a district meeting on topic “Effectiveness of implementation of the transferred powers of the Russian Federation in the field of forest relations by the subjects of the Volga Federal District: the results of 2019 and the tasks for 2020”. The event will be held February 5-6, 2020 in Yoshkar-Ola.
