In 2020, commemorative planting, squares and alleys will be laid in each municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic Foundation and the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In total, the Ministry of Forestry of the RT plans to plant forest crops on the area of 246 hectares. These are seedlings of mountain ash, linden, spruce, pine and larch. Work will be carried out in the spring of this year.
Let us recall that in the fall of 2019, commemorative plantings were laid in the republic's districts in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR foundation on the area of 43 hectares. The work was performed with participation of employees of subordinate institutions of the Ministry and executive committees of municipalities.
The 100th Anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic Foundation will be celebrated on June 25, 2020. Within the framework of the Year of the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR foundation, it is planned to open socially significant objects, parks and squares, to hold a number of anniversary events, including international, federal, socio-cultural, scientific projects and forums.
