In 2020, 35 units of forestry, fire-fighting machinery and equipment will be purchased in Tatarstan, in the framework of the “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” regional project of the “Ecology” national project. This is 9 units of fire trucks ATs-3.0-40 (GAZ-33086), 1 small forest patrol complex UAZ-390945, 2 units of high-pressure fire-fighting installations, 8 units of forest planting machines, 8 units of cultivators KLB-1.7 and 7 units of forest plows PKL-70.
For reference. The regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” as part of the federal project “Forests Conservation” of the national project “Ecology” began to be implemented in 2019. Its main goal is to ensure the balance of forest disposal and reproduction in the ratio of 100% by 2024. To achieve this goal, 2 target indicators were established: “the ratio of reforestation and afforestation area to the area of logged and lost forest stands, %” and “damage from forest fires, million rubles”. According to the results of last year, the values of indicators amounted to 66.3% and 0 rubles, respectively.
In 2019, thanks to the national project “Ecology”, the fleet of equipment of subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan was replenished with 15 units of forestry and 26 units of forest fire-fighting equipment. 91 units of fire-fighting equipment were also purchased.
