A new school forest district will be created in Nizhnekamskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
A meeting on issues of organization of school forest district was held in the premises of the Nizhneuratminskaya Secondary School of Nizhnekamskiy municipal district. The discussion was attended by the District Forester of the Bolgarskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the RT “Zainskiy Forest District” Rafis Rakhmatullin, teachers and the 7th grade pupils.
During the meeting, Rafis Rakhmatullin told schoolchildren about the role of forests, the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, ongoing efforts to conserve, protect and reproduce forests, the movement of school forest districts and their activities. He dwelt in detail on the III Meeting of School Forest Districts of the Republic of Tatarstan held in 2019, the campaigns “Forest Planting Day”, “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”, “Protect the Forest from Fire”, “Hand Over Waste Paper - Save the Tree”, etc.
