Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the All-Russian mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia 2020”
Today the XXXVIII open All-Russian mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia 2020” was held in the Republic of Tatarstan and another 72 regions of the Russian Federation. In Kazan, the competition took place at four sites - in the Gorkinsky-Ometyevsky forest, the floodplain of the Kazanka river, “Berezovaya roshcha” and the stadium “Lokomotiv” in Yudino.
The central venue of the event was the Lokomotiv stadium. The competition was attended by heads and employees of ministries, departments, various organizations, institutions and enterprises of Kazan. The team of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan joined the ski race.
The All-Russian Mass Ski Race “Ski Track of Russia” has been held annually since 1982. The Russian Ski Track is the largest in terms of the number of participants and geographical coverage of the winter sporting event in the world and is carried out as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”, whose task is to increase the population engaged in physical education and sports. According to preliminary data, more than 1.5 million people in Russia have gone skiing today.
