The Ministry discussed the possibility of providing public services electronically
Today, the Ministry held a meeting chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov on provision of electronic public services by the Ministry. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Opening the meeting, Ilgizar Zaripov noted that the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Finance of the RT and the Innopolis University developed the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Service for Monitoring and Control of the State of the Forest Fund based on remote sensing data. “These are the first results of digitalization of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, he said. - Now we are faced with the task of going further and developing a mechanism for the provision of electronic public services by the Ministry. So far, these are two services for providing extracts from the state forest register and approving territorial planning schemes”.
Further, a discussion and exchange of views on social and economic efficiency of transfer of public services into electronic form, possible risks and availability of technical feasibility of implementing this process, etc. took place.
