The Ministry discussed the results of activities of a number of subordinate institutions in 2019
Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the balance committee on results of activities of subordinate institutions in 2019. The event was attended by deputy ministers of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry, head-foresters of forest districts and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
During the meeting, reports on work performed in the past year were presented by the head-foresters of Agryzskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Zainskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Isleitarskiy and Privolzhskiy forest districts, as well as directors of the Agryzskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Zainskiy, Zelenodolskiy, Isleitarskiy and Privolzhskiy forestry enterprises.
Further, the participants of the event discussed the possibilities of increasing the effectiveness of activities of subordinate institutions, implementation of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the national project “Ecology” in 2020, work in the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov instructed head-foresters to strengthen efforts to identify and suppress violations of forest legislation, and forestry directors to grow standard planting material in forest nurseries and create forest crops with closed root system seedlings.
Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov focused on production of commercial products, supply of wood to enterprises of the republic and the efficient operation of machinery. He called on directors of forestry enterprises to tighten control over compliance with labor protection and safety requirements. “Our main wealth is people, so the primary task is to create safe working conditions for them”, he emphasized.
