Development of school forestry was discussed in Naberezhnye Chelny
Development of school forest districts in Tukayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan was discussed in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The meeting was held in the city hall, it was attended by the Local Forester of the Tatarstanskiy precinct forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” Irek Safin, the Forest Master Liliya Ibragimova, Environmental Education Specialist of the Nizhnyaya Kama National Park Alsu Zhukova, Director of the Children's Ecological Biological Center No. 4 Vladimir Tovna, directors of secondary schools No. 10, 38 and 43.
During the meeting, issues of developing modern educational programs for school forest districts improving the professional level of specialists involved in organizing the activities of such associations, conducting events for children aimed at increasing their motivation, disclosing and developing abilities, etc. were discussed.
Based on the results of discussion, it was decided to include visiting of Forestry Museum, the nursery of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forestry Enterprise” and the ecological path of NP “Nizhnaya Kama” in the work plan for the first quarter of this year.
