The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan continues preparations for the fire hazard season in forests in 2020. As part of a set of measures, the Ministry’s employees developed a draft Consolidated Plan for Extinguishing Forest Fires in the Republic of Tatarstan, which was later agreed with the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of Forestry of the Volga Federal District and the Federal Aviation Protection Agency. Yesterday, on February 19, the draft document prior to its approval by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, was sent for approval to the final authority - the Federal Forestry Agency.
The Consolidated Plan for Extinguishing Forest Fires in the Republic of Tatarstan displays information on forests of the republic, the number of forest fire formations, fire-fighting equipment and machinery, the procedure for attracting and using such funds in accordance with the level of fire hazard in forests, etc.
