A new school forest district will be created in Aznakayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
A meeting on organization of school forest district was held in the premises of Gymnasium of Aznakayevo town of the Aznakayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The discussion was attended by Ramis Khannanov, Deputy Head of the district’s executive committee for infrastructure development, Albert Galimov, District Forester of the Aznakayevskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forest District”, and teachers of the gymnasium.
During the meeting, Albert Galimov spoke about the activities of supervised school forest districts “Zelenaya planeta”, “Ak Kaen” and “Yunye lesovody”. He dwelt in detail on educational programs and ongoing activities aimed at developing the ecological culture of children and revealing their abilities.
It is expected that the association will include 45 people - pupils of grades 2-7. Teachers of the educational institution will have to develop a regulation on school forest district in the near future, choose a name and a motto.
