Teachers of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College became the winners of the zonal stage of the Republican contest “Woman of the Year. Man of the year: women’s view”
Yesterday, on February 20, the zonal stage of the Republican contest “Woman of the Year. Man of the year: women’s view” took place in Kukmor town of Kukmorskiy municipal district. Competitors from 10 districts of the republic appeared at the jury: Rybno-Slobodskiy, Laishevskiy, Vysokogorskiy, Arskiy, Atninskiy, Sabinskiy, Tyulyachinskiy, Baltasinskiy, Pestrechinskiy and Kukmorskiy.
According to the results of the contest, the teachers of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College were among the winners. Yulia Galeyeva won the nomination “Woman - an example of the year”, and Rustem Garifullin won the nomination “Man - a leader”. They will take part in the final stage of the contest, which will be held in Kazan on March 7, 2020.
Republican contest “Woman of the Year. Man of the year: women’s view” has been held by the Women of Tatarstan Public Organization with support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan since 1995. Its purpose is to identify and introduce to society women who have made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the republic, in support of culture, spirituality, education of the younger generation and the strengthening of the family institution. The contest is held in 8 female nominations: “Woman - mother”, “Woman - culture and spirituality”, “Woman - scientist”, “My destiny is my profession”, “Woman - a leader”, “Woman - a business woman”, “Heroine of third age”, “Woman - an example of the year” and 2 male - “Man - a leader” and “Man - a noble heart”.
