Today, a video conference meeting was held in the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District, at which priority tasks for the first half of 2020 were discussed. It was conducted by the Head of the Department, Aleksandr Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of forestry authorities of the Volga Federal District, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan - Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov, heads of departments of the Ministry Timur Galiyev, Azat Kurbanov and others.
During the meeting, they discussed the preparations for the 2020 fire season in the forests, development of consolidated plans to extinguish forest fires in the territories of the Volga Federal District, and a set of measures aimed at preventing the occurrence of forest fires. “By the end of March, it is necessary to submit approved consolidated plans to extinguish forest fires to the Federal Forestry Agency”, Aleksandr Ornatsky recalled.
Also the issues of holding the All-Russian campaign “Garden of Remembrance”, protecting budgetary designs for 2021 and 2022 and etc. were discussed at the meeting.
It is worth noting that in the framework of the All-Russian campaign “Garden of Remembrance”, dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, it is planned to plant a tree in honor of each of the 27 million people who died in the Great Patriotic War.
