Preparations for the fire season in forests continue in Tatarstan
Preparations for the 2020 fire hazard season in the forests are continuing in the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the set of measures, warnings are given to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory rules, requirements established by municipal legal acts, meetings are held with the heads of rural settlements, tenants of forest plots, etc. Within the framework of the meetings, state forest inspectors of the republic remind participants of the effect of the Government Decree of the Russian Federation of No. 807 of August 18, 2016, which introduced requirements for the cleaning of territories adjacent to the forest from dry grassy vegetation, crop, forest residues, fallen trees, debris and other combustible materials, or separation of forest with fire protection mineralized belts.
According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, currently, 1.3 thousand pieces of warnings have been issued to owners and users of lands adjacent to the forest fund in the republic.
The fire hazard season in forests in Tatarstan is expected to begin on April 15, 2020.
