Readiness of forest fire stations for the 2020 fire season in the forests is checked in Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the readiness of forest fire stations for the start of the 2020 fire hazard season in the forests is checked. The commission includes the State Inspector of the Department of Federal State Forest Supervision and Control of Timber Accounting of the Forestry Department in the Volga Federal District Marsel Yusupov, the Head of the State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry Airat Akhmerov and others.
The Commission has already visited the forest fire stations of the State Budgetary Institution of Republic of Tatarstan “Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise”, the State Budgetary Institution of Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolskiy Experimental Forestry Enterprise”, the State Budgetary Institution of Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forestry Enterprise”, and the State Budgetary Institution of Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”. During the inspection, special attention was paid to the completeness of forest fire stations, readiness of equipment and personnel. Forest fire extinguishing plans and other technical documentation were also checked.
It is worth noting that such inspections are currently being conducted by employees of structural divisions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Let us recall that in order to ensure timely detection, suppression and prevention of forest fires on the territory of the forest fund in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 18 fire stations of II type at forestry enterprises and 5 forest fire stations of III type at the SBI of RT “Forest Fire Center”. Forest Fire Stations of II type are equipped with 229 units of various equipment, of III type – with 72 units of specialized equipment.
