A workshop on production of planting material with a closed root system will be held in Kazan
From March 24 to March 26, 2020, a seminar on production of planting material with a closed root system will be held in Kazan. Its organizers are the All-Russian Institute for Advanced Training of Leading Workers and Forestry Specialists and the Kazan State Agrarian University.
Among the topics discussed are changes in forest legislation in production of planting material with a closed root system, regulatory and documentation support for the process, design and operation features of greenhouse complexes, expanding the business share in development of greenhouse nursery, requirements for harvesting, processing, storage, transportation, the use of forest plant seeds, methods of protecting planting material from pests and diseases.
Seminar participants are invited to exchange views in the format of round tables, speeches, topical discussions and field sessions at the site of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan.
