Forestry experts held events dedicated to the International Day of Forests in educational institutions of Tatarstan
International Day of Forests is celebrated all over world on March 21, 2020. On the eve of the holiday, before the spring holidays, experts from the forest industry of Tatarstan held events dedicated to the International Day of Forests in educational institutions of the republic.
So, the Precinct Forester of Sarmanovskiy precinct forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forest District” Airat Vakhitov gave a lecture on “Forests and Biodiversity” for pupils of the “Yunye lesovody” school forest district of Sarmanovskaya Secondary School in Sarmanovskiy district. He told schoolchildren about the types of forest ecosystems, their key characteristics and the most important functions.
The Forest Masters of the Stolbishchenskiy precinct forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodnyi Forest District” Guzel Sabirova and Airat Bikchentaev visited the Usady Gymnasium in the Laishevskiy district. During the meeting together with pupils of the 3rd grade, they examined ecological, economic and social functions of forests, environmental protection directions, types of forest professions, etc. A quiz “Forest Experts” was also organized.
Rafis Sharipov, a Precinct Forester of the Staro-Elanskiy precinct forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaleikinskiy Forest District”, gave a lesson on International Forest Day for pupils of Kuzaykinskaya Secondary School in Almetyevskiy district, Reforestation Engineer Nurfiya Ibragimova and Forest Master, Aliya Mukhametkhanova from State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminskiy Forest District” - for pupils of Secondary School No. 5 of the Bugulminskiy district, Deputy Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Laishevskiy Forest District” Fanil Fazlyev – in Laishevskaya School No. 3 of Laishevskiy district.
