Today, the Ministry held a meeting of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on combating corruption. It reviewed the results of work in the field of anti-corruption policy for 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.
The meeting was opened and announced by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov.
The reports were delivered by Rustam Khalikov, Leading Specialist of the Finance, Accounting and Control Department of the Ministry, and Elvira Ziyatdinova, Leading Consultant of the Civil Service and Human Resources Sector, responsible for Prevention of Corruption and Other Offenses.
In the course of his speech, Rustam Khalikov spoke about the results of internal financial control and audit of the targeted and efficient use of budget funds by subordinate institutions of the Ministry in 2019.
Elvira Ziyatdinova presented a review prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy based on an analysis of information submitted by the government of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities on implementation of anti-corruption measures for 2019 and a report on implementation of anti-corruption policies in the Ministry for the first quarter of 2020 of the year. In particular, she recalled that the work in the field of combating corruption in the Ministry is carried out in accordance with the state program approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 512 dated July 19, 2014.
“One of the main tasks specified in the program is to receive and verify the accuracy and completeness of information on income, expenses, property and property obligations of state civil servants and heads of subordinate institutions, as well as their spouse and minor children - said Elvira Ziyatdinova. - From January 1 of this year, the regular declaration campaign has begun, which will last until April 30. To date, information has been provided by 17 employees of the Ministry and 9 heads of subordinate institutions”.
“In the first quarter, the Ministry received 1 notice on implementation of other paid activities. In the reporting period, the Minister did not receive information about the existence or possibility of a conflict of interest among state civil servants and there were no grounds for conducting inspections of employees”, she added.
The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov summed up the meeting. He instructed employees of the Ministry to tighten control over the financial and economic activities of subordinate institutions and pay special attention to presentation of information as part of the 2020 declaration campaign.
