Environmental campaign “March of Parks” was launched in Tatarstan
The International Environmental Campaign “March of Parks – 2020” was launched in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year it is held for the 25th time.
“March of Parks” is an international campaign to provide support to specially protected natural areas (SPNA) of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries. Its goal is to attract the attention of the authorities, media, business and the whole society to the problems of protected areas, to provide them with real practical assistance, to awaken in the minds of compatriots a sense of pride in our natural and cultural heritage.
Within the framework of the “March of Parks 2020” campaign, the RT State Committee on Biological Resources invites those who wish to take part in the nature art of their native land contest of children's art and the environmental landings contest “Let’s Keep the Earth Clean” (cleaning of specially protected natural areas, parks, squares, alleys, etc.).
