The Ministry discussed the tasks for the coming period at a video-conference meeting

Today, the Ministry held a video-conference meeting on results of activities of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Agryzskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Agryzskiy Forestry Enterprise” in 2019 and tasks for 2020. The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee of the Agryzskiy municipal district Andrei Avdeyev, the Head-Forester Vladimir Ishmuratov, Acting Director of the forestry enterprise Luiza Sibgatullina, precinct foresters of the forest district.

The keynote speaker was the Head-Forester Vladimir Ishmuratov. He said that last year reforestation works were carried out on the area of ​​226.7 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops - on 663 hectares, addition of forest crops - on 75 hectares. 23 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested and 117.9 thousand pieces of standard planting material were grown.

Forest pathological examination was carried out on the area of ​​1 thousand hectares, sanitary and improvement measures - on 39.5 hectares, including harvesting illiquid wood - on 21.6 hectares.

After listening to the report, Ilgizar Zaripov instructed employees of subordinate institutions to pay special attention to the cultivation of standard planting material and to tighten control over the identification and prevention of violations of forest legislation.

Also, the First Deputy Minister elaborated on preparations for the 2020 fire hazard season in the forests. He noted that the main causes of forest fires are non-compliance with fire safety rules in forests and agricultural burnings. “An increased fire hazard in the forests is created by the presence of a network of roads and railways, high-voltage power lines, oil and gas refineries, bases and recreation camps, and mass visits to forests by the population. A particularly high danger arises in the suburban areas of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga, Zelenodolsk, Almetyevsk, Bugulma and Nizhnekamsk”, Ilgizar Zaripov emphasized.

Further, the First Deputy Minister recalled fire safety rules in forests, responsibility for their violation and the effect of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 807 of August 18, 2016 “On Amending Certain Acts of the Government of the Russian Federation on the Issue of Ensuring the Fire Safety of Territories”.

“The work to prevent the occurrence of forest fires provides for the timely implementation of measures for fire arrangement of forests, conducting fire propaganda and prompt response to all kinds of fires, including on lands adjacent to forest areas. Thanks to the measures taken in the Republic of Tatarstan over the past 9 years, forest fires have not been allowed, said Ilgizar Zaripov. - The success of the fire campaign depends on coordinated work and interaction of executive and municipal authorities, enterprises, institutions and other organizations involved in addressing forest conservation issues. Thus, the regime of maximum integration of all structures will be a guarantor of saving our forests and settlements from fires”.

It should be noted that today the Ministry also held videoconference meetings on preparations for the upcoming fire hazard and forest cultural seasons on the territory of the Mendeleyevskiy and Pestrechinskiy districts of the republic. The discussion was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee of the Mendeleyevskiy municipal district Rustem Abdullin, the Head of the Executive Committee of the Pestrechinskiy municipal district Albert Khabibullin, the Head-Foresters of the Elabuzhskiy and Laishevskiy forest districts, as well as the Directors of the Elabuzhskiy, Laishevskiy and the Training and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forest Districts.

The issues of implementation of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” within the framework of the national project “Ecology”, environmental campaigns, preparation for the fire hazard season in forests, etc. were discussed.
