Residents of Tatarstan can take part in the ecological-patriotic campaign “Great Victory and “Green Spring”
Residents of the Republic of Tatarstan can take part in the ecological and patriotic campaign “Great Victory and “Green Spring”: we are proud of the past - we are responsible for the future”. Its organizers are the Fund named after V.I. Vernadsky and the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Nature with support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
The campaign is held in the Year of memory and glory in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to collect messages for posterity in the time capsule with its subsequent opening on May 9, 2045 - on the Day of celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Great Victory. Its goal is to mobilize the patriotic and ecological public to preserve historical memory, to draw the attention of the general public to environmental problems and successful practices for solving them, to form in the public consciousness the understanding that only by combining the efforts of all people of the planet we can resist global environmental challenges and threats.
The campaign is carried out in three stages:
- stage No. 1 (March 16 - May 25, 2020) - collection of messages;
- stage No. 2: (May 26 - June 04, 2020) - formation of messages, preparation for laying in the capsule;
- stage No. 3 (June 05, 2020 - Ecologist's Day) - transfer of the capsule for storage to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
The following topics of the message content are welcomed: expectations for solving environmental problems by 2045, confidence in achieving sustainable development goals by 2045, formation of a society living in harmony with nature by 2045, preserving the memory of the heroic deed of WWII participants, orders to preserve peace on the planet as one of the conditions for the successful development of mankind, etc.
