222 kg of coniferous seeds have been harvested in the forestry enterprises of the republic since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of 2020, forestry specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan have procured 222 kg of coniferous seeds. Including, pine - 146.3 kg, spruce - 70.2 kg, larch - 5.5 kg.
Among the leaders in seed procurement are Kzyl-Yulduzskiy, Mamadyshskiy and Zelenodolskiy forestry enterprises.
Let us recall that harvesting of forest plant seeds is an additional indicator of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” as part of the federal project “Forests Conservation” of the national project “Ecology”. Funds from the federal budget in the amount of 7.9 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes in 2020. According to the project, this year 11,455 kg of seeds will be harvested. It should be noted that the bulk of the seeds will be collected in the second half of this year.
For reference. During 2019, forest industry specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan procured 15,952 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species (138% of the plan), including 1,118 kg of conifers and 1,326 kg with improved hereditary properties.
