The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan calls on Tatarstan residents to stay home this week, declared by the President of Russia to be non-working, to protect themselves, their families and friends from coronavirus infection, and nature from forest fires.
According to statistics, 90% of forest fires occur due to a person’s fault - from bonfires, an abandoned burning match, and not extinguished cigarette butts. Most often this happens on weekends, in places of picnics, picking mushrooms and berries. If you still went to the forest, do not forget about the need to comply with fire safety rules.
So, according to the rules of fire safety, it is prohibited in forests:
1) to make bonfires in coniferous young forests, in burnt places, in areas of damaged forest, peat bogs, in places of felling (on cutting areas) not cleared of cutting residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, and also under the crowns of trees;
2) to throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ash from smoking pipes, glass (glass bottles, cans, etc.);
3) to use when hunting wads of combustible or smoldering materials;
4) to leave materials oiled or saturated with gasoline, kerosene or other combustible substances (paper, cloth, towels, cotton wool, etc.) in places not specially provided for this purpose;
5) to refuel fuel tanks of internal combustion engines during engine operation, use machines with a faulty engine power supply system, and also smoke or use an open flame near vehicles that are fueled by fuel;
6) to litter the forest with household, construction, industrial and other waste and garbage.
Violation of fire safety rules in the forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles. If the violation was committed in conditions of a special fire-prevention regime, in this case the size of the administrative fine increases and will amount to 4 to 5 thousand rubles for citizens, officials - from 20 to 40 thousand rubles, legal entities - from 300 to 500 thousand rubles.
