Preparations for the fire hazard season in forests have been completed in Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, preparations for the fire hazard season in the forests have been completed. It will be open on April 6, 2020.
In preparation for it, the “Consolidated Plan for Extinguishing Forest Fires in the Republic of Tatarstan” for 2020 was developed and approved, all forest fire stations of type II and III, fire concentration centers at forestry enterprises of the republic were inspected, many meetings were held with the heads of rural settlements, the population, tenants, owners of land adjacent to the forest fund. As well as 1,5 thousand pieces of warnings were issued to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs on inadmissibility of violating fire safety rules in forests.
Currently, fire safety in the forest is provided by 18 forest fire stations of type II at forestry enterprises and 5 forest fire stations of type III at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”. Thanks to the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan”, in the framework of the national project “Ecology”, in 2019, equipment parks of subordinate institutions of the Ministry were replenished with 26 units of the fire fighting equipment. This year, 12 units of fire fighting vehicles and equipment will be purchased under the regional project (these are 9 units of ATs-3.0-40 (GAZ-33086) fire tankers, 1 small UAZ-390945 small forest patrol complex, 2 units of high-pressure fire fighting installations).
