Veterans of the forestry industry of the Republic of Tatarstan: Fakhriyev Khairetdin Kurbangaliyevich
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan launches a new column - “Veterans of the Forestry Industry” as part of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic Foundation. Within the program we will talk about people who contributed to the development of forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, those who devoted their lives to hard but noble work - protected the forests of the republic from forest fires, illegal logging, carried out reforestation works and ensured the rational and inexhaustible use of the forest fund.
Today, the hero of our column is Fakhriyev Khairetdin Kurbangaliyevich, who worked for 40 years in the Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprise.
Khairetdin Fakhriyev was born on April 24, 1936 in the Kutlu-Bukash village of Rybno-Slobodskiy municipal district. “I was 5 years old when the Great Patriotic War began, a veteran of the forestry industry recalls. - The family had 7 children: 4 brothers, 2 sisters and I, the youngest. Father and brothers went to war. It was a difficult time, we faced difficulties with food”.
After the war ended, Khairetdin Fakhriyev went to secondary school. After graduating from four classes, he began working on a collective farm. “We carried out various tasks, but mainly worked in the field. Then there was a catastrophic lack of workers, he says. - At the age of 20, I went to serve in the army”.
Having returned from service, in 1958, Khairetdin Fakhriyev began working at a sawmill in the Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprise. He met his future wife Khalyamgul, with whom they raised four children.
Khairetdin Fakhriyev worked for 40 years in the Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprise. For his dedicated work and devotion to his work, he was repeatedly awarded with honorary diplomas of the forestry enterprise and was awarded the badge “Winner of the Socialist Competition of 1974”.
