Forestry fire-fighting equipment purchased in the framework of the “Ecology” national project was handed over to the forestry enterprises of the republic

Today, the equipment purchased under the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the federal project “Forests Conservation” of the national project “Ecology” was transferred to forestry enterprises of the republic in the premises of the forest fire station of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” in Vysokaya Gora settlement. In total, 6 ATs-3.0-40 (GAZ-33086) fire trucks were transferred to subordinate institutions of the Ministry. New equipment was received by Almetyevskiy, Arskiy, Bolgarskiy, Zainskiy, Kamskiy and Mamadyshskiy forestry enterprises.

Let us recall that in 2020, federal budget funds in the amount of 197.7 million rubles will be allocated for the regional project implementation, including 46.4 million rubles - for the purchase of forestry, fire-fighting equipment and machinery. A total of 35 units of equipment will be purchased (9 ATs-3.0-40 (GAZ-33086) fire tankers, 1 small UAZ-390945 forest patrol complex, 2 high-pressure fire-fighting installations, 8 ALP-1 forest planting units, 8 KLB-1.7 cultivators and 7 PKL-70 plows).

For reference. The regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” as part of the federal project “Forests Conservation” of the national project “Ecology” was launched in 2019. Its main goal is to ensure the balance of forest disposal and reproduction in the ratio of 100% by 2024. To achieve this goal, 2 target indicators were established: “the ratio of reforestation and afforestation area to the area of ​​logged and damaged forest stands, %” and “damage from forest fires, million rubles”. According to the results of last year, the values ​​of indicators amounted to 67.5% and 0 rubles, respectively.

It is expected that in 2020 reforestation within the framework of the regional project will be carried out on the area of ​​4,785 hectares, including artificial reforestation - on 2,193 ha, natural reforestation – 2,480 ha, combined reforestation - 9 ha, afforestation - 103 ha. Also, during the year it is planned to grow 30.9 million pieces of standard planting material and to harvest 11,455 kg of seeds of forest plants.
