Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov assessed the readiness of Laishevskiy forestry enterprise for the 2020 fire and forestry seasons
Today, the Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rais Gumerov, made a working trip to the Laishevskiy municipal district. There he assessed the readiness of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevskiy Forestry Enterprise” for the 2020 fire and forestry seasons. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevskiy Forest District” Valeriy Izibekov and the Director of the forestry enterprise Ruslan Gazizullin.
In particular, Rais Gumerov examined a type II forest fire station and got acquainted with the course of implementation of a set of measures for the fire arrangement of forests. Valeriy Izibekov said that currently, 50 km of new fire mineralized strips have been created and the existing mineralized strips with a total length of 40 km have been maintained.
In addition, the Deputy Minister visited the base forest nursery of the forestry enterprise. He was told that the digging of standard planting material had begun there – and currently 60 thousand larch seedlings and 30 thousand ordinary spruce seedlings had been dug. As part of the growing season in the territory of Laishevskiy forest district, forest restoration will be carried out on the area of 26 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops – on 250 hectares, supplementation of forest crops – on 110 hectares.
