A special fire regime is introduced in the republic from April 10

Due to the increase in fire hazard in the spring-summer period, Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 242 dated April 01, 2020 established a special fire protection regime in the Republic of Tatarstan from April 10 to May 17, 2020.

During the special fire-fighting regime, the burning of dry grass and garbage, cooking on an open fire (bonfires, barbecues), the use of pyrotechnic products of hazard class 1-3 in the territories of settlements exposed to the threat of forest fires, horticultural and vegetable garden associations, and children's recreation and recovery organizations, economic facilities, health organizations bordering forest areas, as well as in forest park areas, peatlands and open areas bordering forest arrays are prohibited.

Violation of fire safety rules in the forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles. If the violation was committed in conditions of a special fire-prevention regime, in this case the size of the administrative fine increases and will amount to 4 to 5 thousand rubles for citizens, from 20 to 40 thousand rubles - for officials, from 300 to 500 thousand rubles for legal entities.
