SBI of RT “Aksubayevskiy Forestry Enterprise” completed the laying of cuttings of deciduous trees in the school department of the basic forest nursery. “In total, 60 thousand pieces of Hybrid-38 poplar cuttings were planted, said Marsel Muratshin, Reforestation Engineer of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aksubayevskiy Forest District”. - Next year they will be used to create protective forest stands”.
Currently, the institution is working on digging seedlings and planting forest crops. To date, 165 thousand pieces of seedlings of European spruce, Scots pine, larch, pedunculate oak, saggy birch and lanceolate ash were dug. “Planting takes place on the territory of the 91st quarter of the Cheboksarskiy precinct forestry of the Aksubayevskiy forest district, more than 20 people are involved in the work”, added Marsel Muratshin.
In total, during the growing season reforestation and afforestation in the territory of the Aksubayevskiy forest district will be carried out on the area of 42.6 hectares, forest crops will be replenished on 100 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops will be carried out in 415 hectares, and laying of ravine-gully forest stands will be carried out on 16 ha.
