The column “Veterans of the forest industry” continues as part of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic foundation. Today, its hero is Rashit Falakhetdinovich Tazetdinov, Honored Forester of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.
Rashit Tazetdinov was born on January 5, 1948 in the Novyi Arysh village of Rybno-Slobodskiy district. He graduated from the Lubyanskiy Forestry Technical College (now the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College) and the Ural Forest Institute (now the Ural State Forestry Engineering University).
Rashit Tazetdinov began his career in 1969 at the Almetyevsk timber industry enterprise as an Assistant to the Forester of Kaleikinskiy forest district. In 1974 he headed the Shumbutsiy forest district of the Kamskiy timber industry enterprise. Thanks to his enormous industriousness, talent, and organizational skills, in 1985 Rashit Tazetdinov was entrusted with the post of Chief Forester of the Kamskiy timber industry enterprise. While working in this position, he introduced innovative methods of forestry, which was highly appreciated by the Ministry of Forestry of the TASSR.
In 1992, Rashit Tazetdinov was appointed as Director of the forestry enterprise. During the years of his work, effective methods of using raw wood resources, deciduous, small commodity wood were introduced, the working conditions of workers were significantly improved, large-scale work was also carried out to improve the territory of Kamskiy Lespromkhoz settlement, bakeries, schools, etc. were built.
From 1995 to 1997, Rashit Tazetdinov worked at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan as a Leading Engineer. In 1998 he was appointed as a Director of the Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forestry enterprise, where he worked for 12 years. Under his leadership, the material and technical base of the institution was significantly updated, and measures to protect, conserve and reproduce forests were carried out in full.
For his dedicated work, Rashit Tazetdinov was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Forestry of the TASSR (1987), the sign “XX years of service in the State Forest Guard of the RSFSR (1990), and was awarded the honorary title “Honored Forester of the Republic of Tatarstan” (1992), “Honored Forester of the Russian Federation” (2003), etc.
