Work on laying and updating fire mineralized strips continues in the republic
Work on laying and updating fire mineralized strips continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of April 22 of this year, 1,965 km of new strips were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 3,738 km were maintained. The employees of Aznakayevskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Bolgarskiy, Buinskiy, Kaibitskiy, Kaleikinskiy, Kamskiy, Nizhnekamskiy, Sabinskiy and Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprises of the republic completed the work.
Also, forestry specialists are currently improving landscaping areas for citizens staying in forests and installing information stands, nameplates and billboards on fire topics.
Let us recall that this year the fire-hazardous season in forests in the Republic of Tatarstan started on April 6, and the special fire-prevention regime began on April 10.
