Employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Mamadyshskiy Forest District” have joined the “Garden of Remembrance” International campaign
Employees of the SPI of RT “Mamadyshskiy Forest District” joined the International Campaign “Garden of Remembrance”. Planting of trees took place in the “Mamadyshskiy” Sovkhoz settlement of Mamadyshskiy municipal district. A total of 1.1 thousand seedlings of spruce, pine, linden, poplar, mountain ash and ash were planted, 17 people took part in the work.
Given the current sanitary and epidemiological situation, measures were taken to prevent and counteract the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection - the participants were in protective gear, planted trees at a distance from each other in groups of two or three people.
The international campaign “Garden of Remembrance”, dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, started on March 18 and will last until June 22 of this year. Its organizers are the All-Russian Public Movement “Victory Volunteers” and the Victory Commemoration Fund with support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency. The purpose of the campaign is to plant 27 million trees in memory of 27 million dead during the Great Patriotic War.
