Veterans of the forest industry: Amukov Vladimir Fedorovich

The column “Veterans of the forest industry” continues as part of celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic foundation. Today, its hero is Vladimir Fedorovich Amukov, who has worked for 36 years at the Oktyabrskiy timber industry enterprise (now the Nurlatskiy forestry enterprise).

Vladimir Amukov was born on February 20, 1948 in the Novaya Tumba village of Nurlatskiy district. After graduating from the Lubyanskiy Forestry Technical College, he began his career in 1967 as a Forestry Technician at the October timber industry enterprise. After 2 years, a young specialist was appointed to the position of Assistant Forester of Mamykovsky forest district. In 1970, in the direction of the October timber industry, Vladimir Amukov entered the Mari Polytechnic Institute named after M. Gorky, after graduation in 1975 he was entrusted with the post of a Precinct Forester of Tumbinsky forest district.

Vladimir Amukov worked in the Tumbinskiy forest district until 2003. For selfless work and devotion to his work, he was awarded the signs “For conservation and augmentation of the forest wealth of the RSFSR”, “XX years of service in the state forest protection of the Russian Federation”, etc.
