Employees of 15 forestry enterprises of the republic completed the laying and maintaining of fire mineralized strips
Work on laying and updating fire mineralized strips continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of April 29 this year, 2,337 km of new strips were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 4,237 km were maintained. The employees of Aznakayevskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Bavlinskiy, Bolgarskiy, Buinskiy, Kaibitskiy, Kaleikinskiy, Kamskiy, Kzyl-Yulduzskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Nizhnekamskiy, Nurlatskiy, Privolzhskiy, Sabinskiy and Cheremshanskiy forestry enterprises of the republic completed the work.
Also, forestry specialists are currently improving resting areas for citizens staying in the forests and installing information stands, nameplates and billboards on fire topics.
Let us recall that this year the fire-hazardous season in the forests in the Republic of Tatarstan started on April 6, and the special fire-prevention regime began on April 10.
