In 2020, forest management will be carried out on the territory of three forest districts in Tatarstan
In 2020, in the Republic of Tatarstan, field and laboratory work on forest management will be carried out in the territory of the Prigorodnyi, Zelenodolskiy and Kaibitskiy forest districts on a total area of more than 81 thousand hectares. During forest management, an assessment of the state of forest stands will be carried out, and a set of measures for forests protection, conservation and reproduction will be developed.
Along with this, preparatory work for forest management in the Lubyanskiy forest district will be carried out this year.
Forest management is a specialized type of forestry activity that ensures the development of a system of government measures aimed at rational use, increasing productivity, reproduction, conservation and protection of forests, and improving the culture of forestry. The full cycle of forest inventory works, as a rule, lasts 2 years and consists of three periods - preparatory, field, and laboratory.
