Pupils of the “Nasledniki prirody” school forest district joined the “Garden of Remembrance” International Campaign
Pupils of the “Nasledniki prirody” school forest district of Leskhoz Secondary School of the Arskiy municipal district have joined the International campaign “Garden of Remembrance”. The guys planted trees in their plots and put them on an interactive map on the campaign’s official website: https://садпамяти2020.рф.
“I believe that the “Garden of Remembrance” is a great event. This is a great opportunity to perpetuate the feat of every hero who died during the Great Patriotic War”, said Ilyas Galimov, a participant of the school forest district.
Let us recall that the international campaign “Garden of Remembrance” started on March 18 and will last until June 22 of this year. Its organizers are the All-Russian Public Movement “Victory Volunteers” and the Victory Commemoration Fund with support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency. The purpose of the campaign is to plant 27 million trees in memory of 27 million dead during the Great Patriotic War.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the campaign, more than 483 thousand seedlings will be planted in memory of the great feat of 350 thousand Tatarstan people who did not return home from the front to their relatives and friends. As of May 7 this year 415 thousand seedlings were planted in the republic.
