Employees of the SPI of RT “Menzelinskiy Forest District” congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers on the upcoming holiday - Victory Day. Specialists visited the veterans and presented them with gifts.
May 9, 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In order to preserve historical memory and to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Victory, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 327 dated July 08, 2019, the year of 2020 was declared the Year of memory and glory. Within its framework, various contests, campaigns, lectures and other events are held aimed at providing social and medical assistance to veterans, home front workers, widows of the dead participants of the Great Patriotic War, military-patriotic and civil education of youth.
