Dear World War II veterans and home front workers!
On behalf of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!
Victory Day, of course, is the most important, popular, beloved, mournful, but at the same time bright holiday. This great day is an eternal reminder of the unbending will, heroism, courage and steadfastness of those who valiantly fought in the fields of this merciless war and those who selflessly worked in the rear, bringing Victory closer. 75 years ago, the last gunshots died. Your generation had to withstand not only all the hardships of a bloody war, but also the post-war period of the restoration of the state. And you passed through these tests with honor, demonstrating an example of great love for our Motherland, endurance and fortitude.
Each year the ranks of war veterans are thinning, but our gratitude only grows stronger. Our holy duty is to preserve the memory of the heroes of the war, to pass it from generation to generation.
We pay tribute to deep appreciation and gratitude to forestry workers who devotedly worked on the preparation of firewood and industrial wood, the preparation of ridge for skis and gun lodges, manufacture of wooden boxes for mines, cuttings for sapper shovels and other necessary products for the front, sparing no effort for the sake of the Great Victory.
Dear veterans and home front workers, your exploits are inscribed in golden letters in the history of our country. I bow to you and express my deepest appreciation for what you have done for our country. I sincerely wish you good health, joy and prosperity, long and peaceful years of life! I wish you and your children happiness! Happy holiday! Happy Great Victory Day!
