The Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU pays special attention to formation of students’ skills

The Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University pays special attention to the formation of skills and practical skills of students. So, yesterday, on May 13, lecturers of the Department of Forestry and Forest Cultures, together with graduate students, conducted an experimental sowing of seeds of European spruce and Scots pine in the faculty greenhouse. Seeds harvested by employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arskiy Forestry Enterprise” were used for sowing.

During the practical training, the features of harvesting, processing, storage of seed material, stratification and sowing of seeds of forest crops were considered.
