Employees of the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan have begun work within the framework of state monitoring of forest reproduction
Employees of the Federal Budgetary Institution “Roslesozashchita” branch - “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” began work within the framework of state monitoring of forest reproduction in order to assess the characteristics of forest stands. In accordance with the schedule, field surveys were conducted on the territory of the Prigorodnyi forest district on the area of 18.4 hectares. Currently, the institution’s specialists are working on field processing of field materials.
Let us recall that all this year full-scale surveys to assess the characteristics of forest stands will be performed on a total area of 120 hectares. The objects of research will be sites assigned to the lands on which forests are located in 2017-2018, namely, forest crops, objects of combined reforestation, areas to promote natural reforestation, as well as land areas on which natural overgrowing processes have passed.
