An unauthorized landfill was liquidated in the territory of Laishevskiy forest district
Employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevskiy Forest District”, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevskiy Forestry Enterprise” and representatives of the Yegoryevsky rural settlement liquidated an unauthorized landfill in the forest fund in the 16th block of 115 Laishevskiy precinct forestry near the Bima village of Laishevskiy municipal district. In total, 15 cubic meters of solid household waste were exported by their forces.
“Such landfills not only worsen the environment, but are also dangerous because of the risk of fire, says Valery Izibekov, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Laishevskiy Forest District”. - We systematically patrol the territory of the forest fund, and unfortunately, we record the facts of unauthorized waste disposal. This year, for example, more than 35 cubic meters of garbage was collected and removed from the forestry area”.
