Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov held a ministerial meeting

Today, a ministerial meeting was held at the Ministry, at which the results of work for 5 months of 2020 were summarized and tasks for the coming period were outlined. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, administrative officer, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.

The meeting participants reported to the Minister on the progress of forest cultivation, forest protection and forestry operations in the Republic of Tatarstan, results of implementation of the plan for development of school forest districts for the 2019-2020 academic year, implementation of the Geographic Information System of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.

In particular, the Minister was told that since the beginning of the year, the state forest inspectors of the republic conducted 6.5 thousand patrols in the forests and compiled 287 protocols on administrative offenses. The most common violations were violations of sanitary and fire safety rules in forests and the terms of contracts by users of forest plots.

After listening to the reports, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov gave a number of instructions to the employees of the Ministry related to conducting control and supervisory measures, converting government services to electronic form, etc.

In addition, the meeting touched the issues of measures taken in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. The Minister recalled that from May 12 in Tatarstan it became mandatory to wear masks and gloves in public transport, taxis, in all retail and service facilities. It is also recommended to limit contacts with other people, if possible, he added.
