Employees of the SBI of the RT “Tetyushskiy Forestry Enterprise” carry out work on care of young stands. “The other day, we completed the clarification and cleaning in quarter 63 of the Uryumskiy precinct forestry of the Tetyushskiy forest district. The work was carried out on the area of 8 hectares, 12 people were involved, said Rais Khalitov, Director of the forestry enterprise. - In total this year it is planned to carry out improvement cutting of young stands on the area of 80 hectares”.
In general, work on care of young stands was performed on the area of 202 hectares in the Republic of Tatarstan as of May 29 of this year.
Improvement cutting of young stands (clarification and cleaning) - forestry activities that are carried out in order to regulate the density of forest stands, improve the species and quality of young stands and growth conditions of the main tree species.
