The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan conducts a republican review contest “The Best Forest District of the Republic of Tatarstan 2020”
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is conducting a republican review contest “The Best Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan 2020” for landscaping the territory of forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the framework of the contest, the results of work of subordinate institutions of the Ministry in the current year will be evaluated. Particular attention will be paid to the improvement of the territory of the forest fund adjacent to federal and republican roads, the maintenance of green areas, forest parks, recreation areas (construction of gazebos, small architectural forms, etc.), the cleaning of forest areas near public places of recreation, improvement conditions of visual agitation (updating of nameplates, banners, posters on ensuring fire safety, respect for the forest), explanatory and preventive work on prevention of forest fires (conducting lectures, discussions about the forest and the need for careful handling of fire, creating video films, speaking in the media), etc.
The forest districts of the republic take part in the contest. Until August 5 this year they will have to submit materials on the work done to the tender committee of the Ministry.
It is expected that the winners of the contest will be determined in mid-August this year.
