The Minister of Forestry RT Mr. Nail Magdeev and Chief Executive of forestry department and forest protection at Technical University of Dresden, professor, Sven Wagner discussed the problems of oak forests which are rehabilitating in Tatarstan and signed an Agreement that forestry-scientists of Germany will take part in a complex solvation of forestry questions and scientific support in construction of scientific and production center in Kaibizki forestry which is called “Oak-Wood of Russia”
The Minister Mr. N. Mgdeev noticed that today there was a big start of great and interesting partnership. Professor Wagner told that he was anxious for working with Russian specialists. He is very interested in oak-wood of Tatarstan because in Kaibizi there is boundary dispersal of oak trees in Europe and they are growing in very extreme conditions in comparison with West Europe, in conditions of dry Summer and cold Winter.
In 19 of January, Dr. Wagner will become one of the participants of the Collegium of Ministry of Forestry RT and give a report: “Condition of oak wood in Europe, Russian Federation and Republic of Tatarstan: experience, problems and their solvation.”
